[Military Ops. Episode 1]

You have potential...

This is a decent looking movie. Don't take seriously what people like phantomlassuk say. Besides, he doesn't even have any work to prove he can do any better than you can. Anyway, on to the review:

Graphics - 7
Your graphics were decent. I was able to tell "what was what" which is enough to pass for graphics. As for the character, the shadow in the INTRO was black, confusing me at first. Try to render the shadow the way you did in the COMBAT scene. The character's facial details were enough for me to identify him. They were decently and uniquely done.

Style - 6
Your style is pretty cool. Although I've seen the "no body, just arms and feet" concept, it looks cool and isn't used often enough in movies. The MESSAGE scene seemed like a spoof of Metal Gear Solid's codec, taking away from the movie's originality. However, your scenery proves to be very well done. The only suggestion for that would be to take advantage of that talent by adding more camera angles. It takes away from the action if done from one angle. Again, nice style.

Sound - 8
The sound was well done. I understood the dialog, and the gunshots didn't sound like banging against a mic, lol. Nice job with the sound, just always remember to optimize it! ;)

Violence - 6
The violence was just below average. However, you can greatly improve it by adding more camera angles to intensify the viewer's interest. Like I said above, one angle isn't enough for an action scene. Other than that, you have a nice, solid plan of how the gun fight will go. Just add more angles and it'll look significantly better.

Interactivity - 9
You have a solid user interface. A main menu, but no replay button is okay since it takes you straight back to the main menu. So I suppose thats all good.

Humor - 0
I didn't give you a zero because I thought it wasn't funny. I gave it a zero because it doesnt apply to this movie.

Overall - 7
You have a lot of potential. I hope to see more work from you. Keep up the good work!

I'm glad you enjoyed this, and you have made me think twice about going on a break from Flash this entire week. I'm deeply surprised that you found I have a style, especially around character details. The eyes are my type, I love triangular eyes, since it's very fresh from "oval" eyes.

About the comm thing, YES I did try to do something like MGS. How can that bring down originality? Codec IS a real device, but it's in it's beta stages.

Nicely done...

Claymation is rarely seen on Newgrounds. You obviously worked hard on this.

Graphics - 8
The graphics are cool. Everyone is just blue, but I guess faces are pretty hard to animate. Nicely done.

Style - 9
The style is original on NG. Not many clay animations are featured on NG.

Sound - 7
The sound was nicely added in, but the voices could be improved a bit. Try to get a mic cover to reduce pops in the voiceovers.

Violence - 8
The violence in this movie is funny. Bar bottles, tables, ligament ripping, etc. What else do you need? However, it was a bit overdone in some parts. But still, very funny.

Interactivity - 9
You had a preloader and all the works. Good job!

Humor - 9
This movie is funny. The attitudes that the characters have are violently hilarious and the commotion is funny.

Overall - 8
This movie is a recommended pick to people looking for movies about bar fights and bitterness. Truly well done. Nice job!

[ViolentDeaths 3]

This is an extremely fluent movie...

I love this movie. You obviously worked extremely hard on this and so I applaud you.

Graphics - 7
Pretty cool use of scenery! You obviously knew that your scenery played a big part in what happened to the characters! Also, you had a variety of them! However, try to look for a different technique of shading. To find out what I mean, search on Google, Yahoo, Lycos or something for "cell shading" or "cel shading" or something similar.

Style - 9
The animation in this is on level with Xiao Xiao, if not, then better. I thought the white motion blurs you used were very original.

Sound - 9
You had flowing background music for this. However, instead of using one big music file, use a loop that is similar and shorter and can be looped to sound just as good to reduce file size while keeping the quality as good as it is!

Violence - 10
The blood was very well animated compared to several other movies. Plus, this movie is all about violence so nothing goes wrong here since it isn't under or overdone.

Interactivity - 10
You provided a replay button for EACH death, a NEXT button for EACH death, a loader and PLAY button, and credits with a selection of deaths! Very well done! The interactivity is outstanding!

Humor - 10
You obviously knew when humor was needed and when it was not. It was not overdone, nor was it underdone. Very nice.

Overall - 8
I recommend that stick movie fans watch this over XIAO XIAO. This has level, if not, better animation and more interactivity.

EXTREME BABY! YEAH!

You are very talented at using a tablet! I can see you having your own television channel with your own content or your own site with content in the future. Keep using that tablet and who KNOWS what accomplishments you'll make! This was beyond belief for someone using a tablet for the FIRST TIME! I hope to see more from you and your TABLET!

I dont know about extreme, but I've been drawing all my life so the tablet wasn't really any different. If you want to see more tablet stuff all my animation that I've posted are done with it, coz I am slack!

[Troubles On Angel Island]

Excellent Capture Of 16 and 32 Bit Games

I am a huge fan of Sonic.
This parody really brought back memories of the good old days of SEGA GENESIS!
The graphics weren't made by you, which lowered the graphics score to 8 instead of ten, but was 8 instead of 0 because it actually had graphics and captured the sprites extremely well.
I gave your style a 9 because of your sense of movement with the change of sprites to "animate" an action (i.e. Sonic being thrown around) and your familiarity with the actual SEGA games' animation.
The sounds were excellent! They matched the exact game sounds and were used the same way as well! However their originality dropped the score to a 9. But that is still excellent!
The violence was extremely well laidout. You used barely any blood, which shows that you know that the viewer wouldn't normally see Flash style blood or hardly even 16-bit graphic blood in the actual games.
The interactivity is perfect for a movie. The loader, the PLAY button, the REPLAY button, and even a bonus, a scene selection!
The humor was very well played for a parody. I hope to see much more!
Overall, this movie's score from me is a 9! It really captures the viewer almost as if the viewer were actually playing, except this isn't a game, but I think you know what I mean.
