This is a true masterpiece!

Awesome job! You obviously put a lot of effort into this!

Graphics - 10
The graphics were amazing! I don't know what else to say! And I can't get over that cute little animal that makes the fart sound! Its cool!

Style - 10
The animation style was incredibly fluid! Also, the characters were short and stumpy, tall and thin, big and hairy, and big and bare! These all flowed with the fantasy-forest setting!

Sound - 10
The music flowed with the entire movie! Did you compose it? Also, the voices were well-done!

Violence - 10
Just because there is no blood in a movie is no reason to give it a low violence score. The violence was presented very well. It was comical, yet still maintained a serious situation for the character. You knew what limit you wanted to go to with the violence and where to put it! Excellent job!

Interactivity - 10
You included a preloader, play button, and a replay button. All the essentials! Good job!

Humor - 10
The football-punting and baseball-whacking was funny, especially when the characters waved afterward. Nice job with the humor. It just goes to show you that its quality over quantity. Especially with humor! You knew where to put the humor into the movie, without overusing it, or overpowering the plot.

Overall - 10
I love this movie. You've earned a spot in my Favorite Authors list (Lets just say you beat Stamper to #1! Thats right! Will Stamper!). This movie earned a spot in my Favorite Movies list at #1, too! The story was told well and the animation was incredible.

I'd give suggestions but I really can't think of any right now other than MAKE MORE! MAKE MORE!

[Military Ops. Episode 1]

You have potential...

This is a decent looking movie. Don't take seriously what people like phantomlassuk say. Besides, he doesn't even have any work to prove he can do any better than you can. Anyway, on to the review:

Graphics - 7
Your graphics were decent. I was able to tell "what was what" which is enough to pass for graphics. As for the character, the shadow in the INTRO was black, confusing me at first. Try to render the shadow the way you did in the COMBAT scene. The character's facial details were enough for me to identify him. They were decently and uniquely done.

Style - 6
Your style is pretty cool. Although I've seen the "no body, just arms and feet" concept, it looks cool and isn't used often enough in movies. The MESSAGE scene seemed like a spoof of Metal Gear Solid's codec, taking away from the movie's originality. However, your scenery proves to be very well done. The only suggestion for that would be to take advantage of that talent by adding more camera angles. It takes away from the action if done from one angle. Again, nice style.

Sound - 8
The sound was well done. I understood the dialog, and the gunshots didn't sound like banging against a mic, lol. Nice job with the sound, just always remember to optimize it! ;)

Violence - 6
The violence was just below average. However, you can greatly improve it by adding more camera angles to intensify the viewer's interest. Like I said above, one angle isn't enough for an action scene. Other than that, you have a nice, solid plan of how the gun fight will go. Just add more angles and it'll look significantly better.

Interactivity - 9
You have a solid user interface. A main menu, but no replay button is okay since it takes you straight back to the main menu. So I suppose thats all good.

Humor - 0
I didn't give you a zero because I thought it wasn't funny. I gave it a zero because it doesnt apply to this movie.

Overall - 7
You have a lot of potential. I hope to see more work from you. Keep up the good work!

I'm glad you enjoyed this, and you have made me think twice about going on a break from Flash this entire week. I'm deeply surprised that you found I have a style, especially around character details. The eyes are my type, I love triangular eyes, since it's very fresh from "oval" eyes.

About the comm thing, YES I did try to do something like MGS. How can that bring down originality? Codec IS a real device, but it's in it's beta stages.

Nicely done...

Claymation is rarely seen on Newgrounds. You obviously worked hard on this.

Graphics - 8
The graphics are cool. Everyone is just blue, but I guess faces are pretty hard to animate. Nicely done.

Style - 9
The style is original on NG. Not many clay animations are featured on NG.

Sound - 7
The sound was nicely added in, but the voices could be improved a bit. Try to get a mic cover to reduce pops in the voiceovers.

Violence - 8
The violence in this movie is funny. Bar bottles, tables, ligament ripping, etc. What else do you need? However, it was a bit overdone in some parts. But still, very funny.

Interactivity - 9
You had a preloader and all the works. Good job!

Humor - 9
This movie is funny. The attitudes that the characters have are violently hilarious and the commotion is funny.

Overall - 8
This movie is a recommended pick to people looking for movies about bar fights and bitterness. Truly well done. Nice job!

Very Nicely Done Jose!

This Flash is very well done.

Graphics - 10

The graphics in this Flash are VERY WELL DONE! The 3D effects aren't just any normal Flash 3D effects. You included the little details on Robocop such as the shine on his helmet, and the creases in the suit, etc. Very well done.

Style - 10

I see some Flashes floating around NG with cool 3D effects. However, this one was totally original. This is the first movie on NG with 3D effects ALL THROUGHOUT that ALL LOOK DETAILED and has a plot to add to it! Very original, indeed! I especially like your cartoonish-but-still-realistic backgrounds and environments!

Sound - 7

The sound was very high quality, however, the sound could have been optimized more, and still sound the same even at a lower bit rate. However, the sound syncs excellently and the music provides the needed feeling of the movie and sets its mood very well, which raises your score for sound from a would-be 5, to a better 7.

Violence - 10

The violence in this was not overdone, nor underdone. Not too much blood and guts, which shows that you knew what action was needed and what action should be avoided.

Interactivity - 9

You included a nice preloader and a replay button. A play button would have been nice, giving interactivity a would-be 8, but since it didn't take away from the movie, it is a good 9.

Humor - 0

I only gave humor a zero because there is none included. Please know that this is NOT a bad rating, but it is just what I use as an N/A rating. Reviews should have N/A selections, DAMNIT!

Overall - 9

Overall, this movie is action-packed, and 3D! Extreme Flash! Jose shows, yet again, a lot of promise and talent. Keep up the good work Jose!

This is an extremely fluent movie...

I love this movie. You obviously worked extremely hard on this and so I applaud you.

Graphics - 7
Pretty cool use of scenery! You obviously knew that your scenery played a big part in what happened to the characters! Also, you had a variety of them! However, try to look for a different technique of shading. To find out what I mean, search on Google, Yahoo, Lycos or something for "cell shading" or "cel shading" or something similar.

Style - 9
The animation in this is on level with Xiao Xiao, if not, then better. I thought the white motion blurs you used were very original.

Sound - 9
You had flowing background music for this. However, instead of using one big music file, use a loop that is similar and shorter and can be looped to sound just as good to reduce file size while keeping the quality as good as it is!

Violence - 10
The blood was very well animated compared to several other movies. Plus, this movie is all about violence so nothing goes wrong here since it isn't under or overdone.

Interactivity - 10
You provided a replay button for EACH death, a NEXT button for EACH death, a loader and PLAY button, and credits with a selection of deaths! Very well done! The interactivity is outstanding!

Humor - 10
You obviously knew when humor was needed and when it was not. It was not overdone, nor was it underdone. Very nice.

Overall - 8
I recommend that stick movie fans watch this over XIAO XIAO. This has level, if not, better animation and more interactivity.

A Highly Recommended Flash

This was very well done. However, you could have optimized the sound and streamed it.

The graphics in this movie are very well done. They are like television cartoon scenes!

Heheh! You used what I call olskoo' Flash animation like Will Stamper used back in 2000. That's classic, but you also added a few extra touches.

Sound - 6
The sound could have been optimized much better. Read the Portal FAQ for more information on that subject. However, I still gave you a 6 because the voices were done clearly and laid out the character personalities nicely.

Violence - 10
You didn't over or under -do the violence! You kept the violence at the pace of the movie! Great job!

Interactivity - 10
Your preloader DOES work. So no worries there. I guess a replay button isn't needed since the movie starts over by itself instead of stopping with no replay button.

Humor - 10
Dude, your humor is my favorite! Lets make movies together! Seriously! You KNOW your humor!

This movie will give the viewer not just giggles, but big laughs. Trust me! I highly recommend this movie to people who love comedy or someone who just needs to laugh!

I like the anime style. You even mixed it to make it look like American anime! I also liked the 3d effects. Very well done!

The sound was really well-optimized. You managed to keep the file size down while at the same time, including some high quality music.

You kept the violence not down to a minimum or up to a maximum, but nice and smooth and moderate. You obviously knew when fighting scenes were enough and when they needed to be included. I could tell that you knew what you were doing.

Funny...

Lol I like this! The graphics aren't of great quality but yet great quality isn't really needed in comedies. The way you did, 4 HOURS LATER really fast and cut to the scene and the grand finale motto "DONT FUCK WITH THE UNITED STATES" had me laughing my ass off! Nice piece of work.

Nice tutorial.

I'm glad to see tutorials here n there on NG. They are rare here. Anyway, anybody who is willing to teach somebody indepth and with patience to do something, is cool. Nice job. :)

BTW, I would have written a review like the other long ones I usually write but this wasn't a MOVIE so it wasn't really...reviewable. But this tutorial is excellent for anybody who wants to learn from it.
